Chinanews, Shanghai, August 6 – Shanghai Jiaotong University recently announced that it would recruit the president of its School of Humanities (SOH) from all around the world, to enhance the development of both the school and the study of humanities.

The future president of the school should have a doctorate degree and must be an experienced professor who can take charge of the research, teaching and administration of the School of Humanities, and make the school one of the most important research centers in this field in China.

Besides, the School of Humanities is also responsible for teaching students political sciences.

The current plan of the school is to make the school one of the most advanced humanities research platforms in the world.
