Fate of hostages remains uncertain

Local residents have expressed hope that the hostages would be released.
Ghazni resident, said, "The killing of the foreign guest in Afghanistan is an unlawful action. These foreigners came here to help the Afghans, they must be released."
The governor of the Ghazni province said a peaceful resolution was being sought.
