Int´l dancers gather for Folk Festival in Bulgaria

Lungi Bonga, performer from S. Africa, said, "Whatever we are doing is according to our spiritual, is according to our ancestors. We are given this by the people who died so long, so now they are giving us spiritual power. So we are feeling so good about performing."
Prince Faku, chief of the Pondo people in South Africa,joined the celebrations. He says his people's dance traditions are carefully preserved.
Prince Faku, chief of Pondo People in S. Africa, said, "The dances that our people are performing are the dances that have come from generation to generation, so in other words it is not a make up dancing, it's original."
The young women of the Chinese Arts Theatre got a warm reception. Greeks and Georgians put on high energy shows, clad in black, under a scorching sun and record breaking heat.
