Qatar, Iran bid for 2011 Asian Cup

Qatar and Iran are leading the bid to host the 2011 Asian Cup - according to reports from an AFC organizing committee meeting.
This is the first meeting since the committee regrouped in May.
At the AFC meeting in Jakarta, newly elected representatives discussed marketing and financial issues in Asian football.
The 2011 Asian Cup was also on the agenda. Qatar and Iran both have high hopes of hosting the cup. Results of the bidding will be revealed in three day time.
